You’re not going to be very good when you start. The work you put in will suck for a period of time.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.

You’re going to have doubt if what you’re doing will work. You’ll begin to think you’re crazy. You’ll overthink everything and try to make it perfect.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.

Your phone will start vibrating with new messages. Your cat (or dog) will bother you. You’re going to search for any distraction.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.

You’re going to tell yourself you’re only good at 1 very insignificant part of your niche. You’ll even say you don’t have the “talent” for what you’re doing.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.

You’re going to want to clean the kitchen. You’ll think your office and desk need to be rearranged. Everything else needs to be organized.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.

You’re looking up the mountain at your final destination, with overwhelm and fear. You don’t know how you’re going to climb it up and achieve your vision.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.

There’s always a reason not to start. The timing will never be right. You’ll never be “fully” ready. The pain of staring will feel like too much. You’re going to have doubt, fear, anxiety, stress, whatever you want to call it.

That’s fine.

Start anyways.
